Shoot Layout

You have been waiting and waiting and finally the day has arrived for you to start planning for a baby. Its one of the most special times in your life and I feel honored to be photographing your baby in its first weeks of life. I typically like to work with Newborns between 5-10 days of life, because that is when they are oh so sleepy and bendable. I know its hard to predict when your little bundle will arrive so I just ask that you e-mail or call Jamie Jones a couple days after you have him/her and we can schedule your appt in the upcoming days.

Note form the Photographer:

Hey everyone, I get asked a lot why the shoots need to be 4 hours so I thought I would break it down for you. When you arrive or I arrive at your place I will have you feed your baby and then we will try and get Him/Her to fall asleep and sometimes this can take an hour. Then we will began shooting, and most likely your baby will poop and pee and since I like to shoot my babies without diapers we will have to take a couple breaks to clean that up. Then after maybe an hour of shooting your little one will need a break so it is the perfect time for a second feeding. Then once again we will rock them and put Him/her to sleep and finish shooting for the last hour. Sometimes babies are extra sleepy for me and the shoot doesn't need to last 4 hours but you never know so I always say plan on the shoot lasting the full 4 hours. Thanks and cant wait to work with you.
